Siglas Visto de Noivos.

- K1 = O visto K1 é definido pela imigraçao US como sendo tanto um visto imigratório como não permanente ao mesmo tempo.
Imigratório porque a intenção é ficar lá pra sempre, após o casamento e não permante porque existe um prazo para entrada no país e para o casamento acontecer.
Depois de aprovados no Rio, temos exatamente 6 meses para entrar nos EUA.
No dia que chegarmos ao país e estivermos no sistema americano,nós devemos contar 90 dias para nos casarmos, senão devermos retornar ao Brasil.

- RFE = Request For Evidence (apresentar mais evidências de relacionamento)

- NOA 1 = Notice of Action 1 ( a primeira carta para a pessoa que deu entrada no processo, receberá do escritório de imigração dizendo que seus documentos chegaram e que já foram abertos e cadastrados).

- Receipt Number = É o numero temporário do seu caso. Vem no NOA1. Geralmente,voce recebe o NOA1 apos 1 semana de ter enviado os documentos. Com o receipt number, voce pode acompalhar a tragetória do seu dossier.

- NOA 2 = Notice of Action 2 (carta para a pessoa que deu entrada no processo ou o parceiro/a , dizendo se seu visto foi aprovado ou não).
Pode demorar de um a vários meses.

- É possível saber se seu dossier foi aprovado antes de receber o NOA2 pelo correio, crie uma conta no site

- Packet 3 = conjunto de documentos que voce deve enviar ao Rio de Janeiro.
Voce recebe via correio, uma carta do Consulado do RJ, assim que eles receberem dos USA.
O departamento de imigração US manda seu dossier pra lá, assim que ele é aprovado.
Apos o envio do seu dossier, voce terá sua entrevista marcada.

- Packet 4 = Segunda carta dizendo a data da entrevista e os documentos que você deve levar à entrevista.

- AOS = Adjust of status (= solicitacao do Green Card - deve ser feito apos o casamento) Quando seu Ajuste de Status for aprovado, você recebe seu Green Card.
