Grupo de Estudo Imigraçao Canada

3 fotos

Vou colar aqui a primeira postagem do blog anterior pois ela é histórica!

Mirian dear,

About the same time as you were writing the words of one of my favorite spiritual songs by Kelly Willard, I was praising the Lord, with the flute and singing some of my favorite hymns accompanied by the Instrumental Hymns from the Second Chapter of Acts CD. I have looked all of them up in my hymnal and I sing them as part of my devotions time.
The thought came to me as I was singing; "Be still my soul", this is one that Mirian would enjoy and it is so a propos given the circumstances in our lives. So as I set up to write some of the lyrics to you in an email, I opened up your blog and found you had already created a special place where I can share this wonderful pertinent hymn of faith and encouragement for everybody.
Thank you Mirian for being so in tune with the Lord and with me.

BE STILL, MY SOUL

Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. James 5:7.
1. Be still my soul:
The Lord is on your side;
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
Leave to your God to order and provide;
In every change He faithful will remain.
Be still my soul:
Your best, your heavenly Friend through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

2. Be still my soul:
Your God will undertake to guide the future as He has the past.
Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still my soul:
The waves and winds still know his voice who ruled them when He dwelt below.

Jean-Louis.
