meu eterno Salvador
que tirou-me das trevas
e transportou-me
para o reino do seu amor

Graças te dou oh Pai
por tua maravilhosa Palavra
que toca o meu coração
e me ensina o modo certo
de viver

Graças te dou oh Pai
pelo teu Espírito Santo
que me revela o teu poder
e me guia em qualquer
situação

Grato sou por Jesus
razão da minha vida
meu eterno salvador
que tirou-me das trevas
e transportou-me
para o reino do seu amor!

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 106:1

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 106:1

When the LORD your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers… to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied, be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.Deuteronomy 6:10-12

Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. Psalm 95:2-6

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. Psalm 100:4-5They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. Psalm 145:7

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. I Chronicles 29:11-13

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. Psalm 9:1

I have so much to be thankful for this year. It’s been a year of changes and adjustments, but God has been faithful. We are healthy, we are happy, we are in love, we are blessed! And I am grateful.

beijos,
Ester.

Minha querida Mirian,

Thank you my dear friend, my faithful companion for these wonderful reminders of our Father's great love and care for us His children. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year, I could spend every minute of the day counting my blessings from the Lord and I wouldn't be finished with my eyes closed for the blessing of rest at night. Like you I didn't use to celebrate this uniquely American holiday full of significance and one of the few which is not indecently commercial. It is a day of remembering the Lord out of our busy lives, a day for family and friends and it is this aspect which I most deeply appreciate this year. For some years now this season of the year was sad for me, but now the Lord has given me a new family to add to my own, my heart has felt a renewed joy and deep gratitude and a fulness to overflowing and sharing with you, my beloved friend all that the Lord has been and has done in my life before you as a seed planted in a prepared ground, and now together as our deep roots grow intermingling and produce a growing thriving healthy planting of the Lord for the future harvest that together, we will gratefully gather for Him, sharing with all we meet the fruit of His grace, His love and His salvation.

Jean-Louis.
